One organizer complained that the White House Correspondents' Association - which represents the hundreds of journalists who cover the president - largely has been silent since the first weeks of the war about the killings of Palestinian journalists.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle secretly buy family home in Santa Barbara
Harry’s Fine Foods is our flagship restaurant located in Seattle’s beloved Capitol Hill neighborhood. Fine Foods specializes in connecting guests with the Pacific Northwest’s many growers, makers, and purveyors.
Eater Seattle main menu
Check out Harry’s boozy weekend brunch serving up mimosas, cocktails and breakfast favorites like biscuits and gravy along with a local favorite–apple cider doughnut holes. There are some great menu selections available for lunch, like the beet salad tossed with whipped goat cheese, persimmon, pistachio, chicories and sherry-shallot vinaigrette. And don’t forget a side of Harry’s fries, made with fresh potatoes, pecorino, fried sage, rosemary and 601 sauce.
Rendition Restaurant
Inspired by 1970s Japanese city pop, Harry's House is a synth-pop, new wave, pop rock and pop-funk album. Before you get judgy and start thinking that this is just some soulless corporate promotion, you know that the decor is more than just Rams chic. The interview was originally rumored to have been filmed at Harry and Meghan’s Montecito house, but Oprah confidante and “CBS This Morning” host Gayle King told reporters the interview was shot at “a friend’s house,” according to the Daily Mail. The home is also near their known celebrity friends, Ellen DeGeneres and, of course, Winfrey, who courted the ex-royals for years to land the interview. Harry and Markle had previously been staying in “Madea” character actor Tyler Perry’s Los Angeles mansion before moving about an hour and a half away to Santa Barbara, California.
In addition to McVay and general manager Les Snead, the draft house will typically have celebrity guests. Eric Dickerson, Rebel Wilson, Erin Andrews and Brody Jenner were photographed at the venue in 2021. The Rams have run their draft out of a draft house since 2021, though they referred to last year's location in the San Fernando Valley as a "draft lab."
Don’t miss the phenomenal soft serve in rotating seasonal flavors like chamomile, preserved lemon, or quince. On warm evenings, there’s nothing better than a happy hour and comfort food on Oddfellows’ “secret” back patio. When the weather dips, pretend you’re sweating on the streets of Bangkok with Bai Tong’s spicy som tum and wok-licked pad see-ew. Or simply set up camp at Harry’s Beach House for grilled halibut sandwiches and Negroni spritzes on the water.

King was not previously known to own a home in Montecito and has camped out in Oprah’s guest house on trips from New York City. The 14,500sq ft, or 1,350sq m, main house sits on 7.4ac of grounds that include a pool, tennis court, tea house and children's cottage. The couple's new neighbours in the upmarket Montecito district just outside the city, about 150km from Los Angeles, include Oprah Winfrey, Gwyneth Paltrow, Ellen DeGeneres and Ariana Grande. With glass doors that roll up, and a patio dotted with fire pits, Tukwila’s Hotel Interurban restaurant is comfortable regardless of our typical temperamental weather. — but dinner necessitates a knife and fork, with hefty plates like a 42-day dry-aged ribeye or cedar plank-roasted salmon. A collection of sea-themed oil paintings set the tone for the marine environment on the entry wall.

More than two dozen journalists in Gaza wrote a letter last week calling on their colleagues in Washington to boycott the dinner altogether. Protest organizers said they wanted to bring attention to the high numbers of Palestinian and other Arab journalists killed by Israel's military since the war began in October. Kelly O'Donnell, president of the correspondents' association, opened the event by reminding the audience of the important work that journalists do but noting that the dinner is happening at "a complex moment for our nation," and in a decisive election year. "Western media we see you, and all the horrors that you hide," crowds chanted at one point. With hundreds of protesters rallying against the war in Gaza outside the event and concerns over the conflict and humanitarian crisis in Gaza and the perils for journalists covering the conflict, the war hung over this year's event.

Start off dinner with a dozen on the half shell oysters paired with lemon and mignonette. This light starter pairs well with the Pink Drink No 22, poured with vodka, maraschino liqueur, pamplemousse, rosemary, lemon and cava. The deviled eggs are another great sharable for the table; this classic soft egg dish is taken to new heights at Harry’s Beach House, topped with a smoked trout caviar, aioli and pimentón.
In August 2020, a source told Us Weekly that, while they could've asked Prince Charles for financial help, Meghan and Harry decided to purchase their new home independently. Per Us Weekly's source, "Harry could’ve asked [Prince] Charles to contribute toward the cost of the house, but he chose not to ... Getting his dad financially involved would result in the royals having control over him. It would mean going backwards." In a veritable sea of solid dining options, this Portland-based sushi chain’s U Village location stands out not only for its signature rolls and ultra-fresh nigiri, but also for its sustainable seafood sourcing. Though it’s hard to bypass the fish, the wagyu beef burger is a sleeper hit, and not just among the raw-fish averse. Beach-chic may not be a vibe that Seattle generally excels at, but this Alki Beach haunt knocks it out of the park with water views and zero kitsch. Cocktails are mandatory, especially inspired concoctions like a purple-hued gin and tonic made with butterfly pea flower.
Jumping over to the main section of the menu, the roast chicken is a Harry’s staple, available in half or whole orders and served with smashed potatoes, gribenes, schmaltzy croutons and a trio of tasty sauces. The dish is cooked to perfection and complemented well by a side of the grilled broccolini and an order of the grilled sourdough with butter and local honey. Finish off the evening with a hazelnut “afauxgato,” served frozen combining vodka, Frangelico, cold brew and coconut cream. Seattle is known for its excellent seafood, and Chef John from Harry’s Beach House is no stranger to creating new specialties with locally caught ingredients. If you have asked anyone who’s visited this incredible restaurant, you’ll be convinced into ordering the Dungeness crab and scallop cakes.

If they hold onto the pick it will be the first time the franchise has made a first round selection since they took Jared Goff No. 1 in 2016. It will also be the first time that the team has picked in the first round since Sean McVay became head coach in 2017 so you can understand why the team is kind of excited. Reports surfaced this morning that the interview was filmed at King’s house, but the New York Post was not able to confirm these reports.
Harry’s Fine Foods — the chill bistro that has been slinging comfort food in Capitol Hill since 2016 — opened its West Seattle spinoff Harry’s Beach House today on Alki Avenue. The menu brings over some fan favorites from the original spot (including its popular Harry’s burger), with some rotating seasonal offerings using locally sourced ingredients. Brunch dishes include poached eggs on roasted delicata squash, borscht, and cornmeal pancakes, while dinner features lamb riblettes and Salish black cod with smoked sunchokes and huckleberry jus. Their five-acre estate also boasts rose gardens, century-old olive trees, an outdoor pizza oven, pool, playground, vegetable garden, tennis court, a two-bedroom guest house, a tea house and a children’s house, Page Six previously reported. As Sean McVay prepares to make a first-round pick in the NFL draft for the first time as a head coach, the Los Angeles Rams are setting up shop in a luxurious draft house for this weekend's event.
Vintage furnishings and coolers invite memories of both corner store and grandma’s house. And a collection of basket lights clusters to create a warm center of the long community table at the heart of the restaurant. Harry's Beach House is a great restaurant if you're spending time in West Seattle, and the coastal kind of menu is pretty customizable to any type of mood. Maybe you're in head-to-toe Ivy Park after an afternoon workout and feel like knocking back oysters on the half shell with some champagne. You can do all of that at Harry's, complete with an Alki-side location that's perfect if the weather is on your side.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex paid $14,650,000 for the 18,000-square-foot home, which features rose gardens, century-old olive trees, a tennis court, a tea house, children’s cottage and a pool. Steps away from the shores of the Puget Sound in Seattle’s Alki Beach neighborhood is Harry’s Beach House, a warm and welcoming restaurant dishing up local and seasonal fare along with photo-worthy sunsets. Owner Julian Hagood has created an indoor/outdoor, inclusive dining atmosphere with a diverse food and beverage menu. According to a preliminary investigation released Friday by the Committee to Protect Journalists, nearly 100 journalists have been killed covering the war in Gaza. Assuming the Rams don't trade out of the first round, they will be picking on the first day of the draft for the first time since 2016 when Jared Goff was the No. 1 overall pick.
